The Anderson County Museum hosted a panel discussion last Tuesday (2/27), led by the Anderson Area Remembrance and Reconciliation Initiative, to explore personal and group experiences concerning racial injustice with an eye toward creating a better future.

The panel, comprised of former AnMed CEO John Miller; Anderson Mayor Terence Roberts; AnMed Chief Diversity Officer Juana Slade; and former Anmed faculty member and Anderson University Professor Emeritus Stuart Sprague, talked about the challenges they and the group as a whole have faced. They also discussed the group’s successes, as well as plans for the future. The panel was moderated by business owner and Anderson University Assistant Professor Bobby Rettew, and was concluded with a beautiful closing affirmation by AnMed Chief Quality Officer and Family Practice Physician Mike Seemuller.

We hope you watch the whole conversation below provided by Greg Wilson of the Anderson Observer.
